Jacobs began studying acting at the age of 8 and took acting classes on Saturdays at the Pittsburgh Playhouse while growing up.She participated in the Pittsburgh Public Theater where she always competed for the public's Shakespeare Monologue Contest leading her to being cast in the role of Titania in their stage production A Midsummer Night's Dream. Following her graduation from Mt. Jacobs was a student at Lebanon High School between 2000 and 2004. She earned a bachelor's degree in 2004 following graduating from Lebanon High School.
